Scope of this chapter
Whistleblowing encourages and enables employees to raise any serious concerns they may have, rather than overlooking a problem.
Serious concerns include:
- Criminal activity;
- Not complying with legal requirements;
- Miscarriages of justice;
- Putting an individual's health or safety at risk including residents, clients and members of the public; and
- Damage to the environment.
